Planner / Senior Planner – Ashby-de-la-Zouch (Hybrid working available)
Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Salary: £35k - £45k DOE + benefits

We’re working with a leading global consultancy that’s looking to expand its team in their office in Ashby with a talented and driven Planner. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritise your own caseload, delivering high-quality work and tailored planning advice to clients.
- Prepare and manage planning applications, site reviews, and supporting documentation for a range of development projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
- Lead negotiations and represent clients at meetings, consultations, and discussions with key stakeholders.
- Support and mentor junior team members, including guiding colleagues through the APC process.
About you:
- MRTPI qualified or nearing submission.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT systems.
- Solid understanding of the UK planning market and current industry trends.
