Up to £45/hour (inside IR35) - Hybrid (weekly site visits) - 3-month contract (likely to extend)
An East of England Local Authority is seeking a skilled Senior Planning Enforcement Officer to lead the Enforcement team, managing a low caseload with high-quality outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Investigate breaches of planning control, including complex cases
- Draft and serve Enforcement notices
- Prepare statements for appeals and prosecutions
- Work with stakeholders and internal teams
What You’ll Bring
- Proven Planning Enforcement experience
- Ability to manage complex cases independently
- Strong report writing and communication skills
