Are you an experienced Town Planner ready to take the next step in your career with a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy in London? As a Town Planner, you will be taking responsibility for delivering planning projects from inception through to completion. You will be preparing planning applications, undertaking site appraisals, and providing strategic advice to clients and stakeholders. You will be liaising closely with local authorities, developers, and multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring projects comply with legislation and meet client expectations. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior colleagues, sharing your knowledge and helping to develop the next generation of planning professionals.
In this role, you will be expected to:
·Provide expert planning advice on a wide variety of projects, from small-scale developments to large, complex schemes.
·Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and appeals.
·Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and impact analyses.
·Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, local authorities, and stakeholders.
·Contribute to business development initiatives and help grow the consultancy's portfolio.
To be successful as an Experienced Town Planner, you will bring:
·A degree in Town Planning or a related discipline and Chartered RTPI status.
·Significant experience in a consultancy environment delivering planning projects across multiple sectors.
·Excellent knowledge of UK planning legislation, policy, and procedures.
·Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
·The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
